Using a crane was the safest way to fell this enormous dead tree!

Westley was called to safely fell this large beech tree. Meripilus giganteus fungus was colonising the root structure and had caused extensive dieback in the crown.  The local Council decided to fell the tree into woodland to create a beneficial wildlife habitat while it naturally degrades. ​
